The Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians Launches Organization to Provide Education in Endocrinology
PHOENIX, AZ, (NOVEMBER 18, 2013) – The Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, or EndoANP, officially launched their organization this week, offering advanced training in one of the most sought after areas in integrative medicine, endocrinology and hormone balance. The EndoANP seeks to advance the philosophy, science, and practice of naturopathic medicine in the context of endocrinology care.
“The launch of the EndoANP fills a unique need among naturopathic physicians as well as with patients around the country, to advance the understanding of hormonal disorders and how to maintain optimal hormone health,” said Dr. Alan Christianson, ND, President of the EndoANP. “Hormone management, whether thyroid, adrenal, metabolic, or reproductive hormones, is one of the most common reasons patients seek naturopathic care. We hope to provide a forum for likeminded naturopathic physicians to refine their knowledge, share cutting-edge research, and advance the science of naturopathic endocrinology care.”
The EndoANP has already announced its 2014 webinar series, sharing expertise from doctors such as Paul Anderson, ND, Tori Hudson, ND, Mona Morstein, ND, and more. Webinars are open to members only, and are featured on a monthly basis. In addition to continuing education, the EndoANP will support research within the specialty and bring naturopathic options to the awareness of other healthcare providers and the public.
The EndoANP was founded in in 2013 to advance the practice of naturopathic endocrinology. More information and a membership application can be found at www.endoanp.org.
