About the Expert

Max Motyka is director of the Human Products Division at Albion. He received his bachelor of science and master of science degrees in pharmacy from Wayne State University. Early on, he worked in pharmacies while he went to graduate school. Motyka spent some time in hospital pharmacy management, as well as in drug information and poison control. He has been involved in the nutrition industry for almost 30 years. During the last 19 years, he has been the director of Albion’s Human Nutrition Division. Max has been involved in everything from product development to marketing and sales. Mineral nutrition is one of his main interests today, and Motyka has been at the forefront of our industry in the continued effort to put the science behind the field of dietary supplements and food fortification.
