In Memory of Rick Marinelli, ND, LAc (1954-2013)

The natural medicine community mourns the loss of a great leader
After a long battle with cancer, Rick Marinelli, ND, LAc, died recently in Portland, OR. Dr. Marinelli was a nationally recognized leader in the advancement of pain management therapies. In fact, he was the first naturopathic doctor appointed to serve on any committee of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences. He was also the first naturopathic doctor to serve as President of the American Academy of Pain Management.
