Oliver Grundmann

Oliver Grundmann, BPharm, MS, PhD, is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, College of Pharmacy, and assistant professor in the Department of Adult and Elderly Nursing, College of Nursing, as well as adjunct assistant professor at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy. He is involved in several collaborative research projects on natural products both in preclinical and clinical stages, especially the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome and other intestinal disorders using complementary and alternative medicine, as well as herbal medicines for the treatment of neurological disorders. He has been a fellow of the Japan Society for the Advancement of Science and the German Academic Exchange Program while studying at Tokushima University in 2006. His teaching involvement covers areas related to medicinal chemistry, natural products, forensic toxicology, and clinical toxicology, as well as general pharmaceutical sciences.
