Russell B. Marz

Russell B. Marz, ND, LAc, received his naturopathic doctorate from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon, in 1983. Two years later, he founded Omnivite Nutrition Inc, a company that formulates unique nutritional formulas. He is currently the patent owner of 8 formulations. Marz has taught clinical nutrition as an associate professor at NCNM; Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Tempe, Arizona; University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine, Connecticut; and the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM), Portland. He is the author the textbook, Medical Nutrition from Marz (Quiet Lion Press, 1999). He earned his master's degree in acupuncture and Chinese medicine from OCOM in 1992. He is actively involved in research in the nutritional treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
