For Immediate Release

In response to industry concerns over the possible presence of triclosan, benzethonium chloride, and benzalkonium chloride being found in grapefruit seed extract products, Allergy Research Group has performed high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis of the grapefruit seed extract which we use in our products using a third-party testing service.

The grapefruit seed extract used in the Allergy Research Group products (ParaMicrocidin 125, ParaMicrocidin 250, and Tricycline) has been shown via this testing to be free of the potentially dangerous contaminants triclosan, benzethonium chloride, and benzalkonium chloride.

Additionally, we have reviewed the process used by our supplier of grapefruit seed extract to ensure that these substances, and other potentially harmful compounds, are not used as a part of the processing methods, or as preservatives.

We are taking the necessary steps to ensure that on an ongoing basis our grapefruit seed extract products will continue to be free from these, and other potential contaminants.
