Wolfgang Kuchen appointed as President at Allergy Research Group, LLC.

Fred Salomon, President and Vice Chairman of Allergy Research Group (ARG), announced the appointment of Wolfgang Kuchen as President and Chief Operating Officer of Allergy Research Group as of January 1, 2017. Mr. Kuchen joined Allergy Research Group in 2016 and is succeeding Mr. Fred Salomon as President. Mr. Salomon will remain active as Allergy Research Group Vice Chairman.

Mr. Kuchen has more than 20 years of experience in management, leadership and team development in the US and internationally, in the pharmaceutical, dietary supplement and natural personal products industries.

Our mission to grow the company organically and through acquisitions has just been energized exponentially,” Salomon said. “We feel very fortunate to have Wolfgang aboard.”

Prior to joining ARG he spent 5 years at Australian-based, international healthcare company Soho Flordis International (SFI). At SFI, Mr. Kuchen was responsible for the execution of the group’s growth strategy resulting in the acquisitions of Ginsana, SA in Switzerland (2013), ProThera, Inc. (2013) and Complementary Prescriptions (2014) in the US, and Potter’s (2015) in the UK. Following the acquisition of ProThera, Inc. he was also responsible for integrating and growing the North & Latin American businesses as General Manager Americas and CEO of ProThera, Inc.

From 2007 through 2011, Mr. Kuchen served as Vice President-International Sales & Marketing at Country Life, LLC, an Allergy Research Group affiliated company.

From 1999 through 2007, Mr. Kuchen held various leadership roles at the Schwabe Group (Nature’s Way Products, Inc.) both in Europe as well as the US. As Vice President International Sales & Marketing at Nature’s Way, Mr. Kuchen was responsible for international M&A activity and formulation, implementation and execution of long-term strategic and operational plans. He transformed the Canadian distributorship model into a direct sales model establishing Nature’s Way as the leading US supplement brand in Canada.

Mr. Kuchen started his career with Grunenthal GmbH, a family-owned medium-size pharmaceutical specialty manufacturer in their Business Development division, in-licensing third-party products and developing and implementing corporate and regional strategy.

Mr. Kuchen is particularly experienced in formulating and implementing high growth strategy, acquisitions and international expansion.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Business (MBA).
